Background on the Blue Lotus Flower
The Blue lotus flower is otherwise known as Nymphaea caerulea, blue Egyptian lotus, blue water lily, and sacred blue lily. Blue lotus flower is a water lily that predominantly grows in Egypt and certain parts of Asia. Some people say Blue Lotus is an entheogenic drug, which is a mind-altering substance believed to alter one’s consciousness in a spiritual or religious manner.
